Courtyard Village, Jason Goodwill - Jason reminded us that Courtyard Village Raleigh Hills turns 25 years old on Sept 11. They are welcoming businesses to add a coupon, pen, magnet, or other item they have to the gift bags they'll be giving to each of the 185 apartments at their celebration event. The apartments have kitchens, and are for active seniors. More details were in the last eblast. Additionally, Jason reminded us that LinkedIn is a good tool for getting the word about businesses out. And lastly, the mural project has started. They'll be looking to social media for "friend raising" in support of this project. Reminders:
- Venture Portland, a perk to RHBA members, offers workshops and introductory learning opportunities for business associations and their members. Some gatherings are live on zoom but are recorded so you can watch on your time. They have had a number of social media discussions and you can sign up for their weekly newsletter if you wish.
- Lunch is at Ernesto's this month on August 21 at Noon. Hope to see you there.
- To introduce ourselves to one of Raleigh Hill's newest businesses, La Provence, we are having a no-host coffee meetup, so look for us there on Wednesday August 28 at 10am.
- Our September Zoom will be on September 4th at 8am and will feature member speaker and newest RHBA board member, Grabrielle Proust of Proust Dynamic Organizing, so plan to tune in and gear up for some fall organizing cleanup!
- Lastly our RHBA Annual Meeting will be on Tuesday Oct 8 from 5-7pm at Courtyard Village.
